Financial Coordinator/Registered Dental Assistant

Stephanie has been a member of Dr. Kawata's team since 1997. She has had the unique opportunity to have worked many of the positions in the office. She started here as a back office Registered Dental Assistant, moving on to Appointment Coordinator. Stephanie now serves as the Financial Coordinator. Due to her expanded experience in the office, she is glad to help and is happy to answer any questions you may have. Stephanie states, "I really enjoy the excitement and the challenges that my job has to offer. I also enjoy working with Dr. Kawata and our wonderful staff. The quality of treatment that he provides and our awesome customer service are so rewarding!"

Stephanie and her husband Donald enjoy traveling and weekend trips to the river. She loves to shop and to spend time with her family.

Scheduling Coordinator

Diane was introduced to Dr. Kawata's wonderful office when her children began treatment with him. She was very impressed with the quality of the treatment and the overall experience with the office. This inspired her to become a part of his orthodontic team. Diane is cheerful and efficient at the front desk, and is conscientious in assisting patients with their appointment needs. "I love working for Dr. Kawata! The atmosphere here is always upbeat and positive," she says.

Away from the office, Diane enjoys time with her husband Mark and two adult children Ashley and Justin. Her hobbies include boating, skiing, biking, reading and baking.

Treatment Coordinator

Jennifer assists Dr. Kawata in the initial evaluation and recheck appointments. Jennifer takes pride in giving exceptional service to our patients and is excited to help them get started on achieving a beautiful smile. "I love my job because it gives me the privilege of meeting new people everyday and the opportunity to continually learn new things from our wonderful patients."

Jennifer and her husband live in Corona with their three children. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her kids play soccer and baseball, spending time with great friends, and decorating her home.

Registered Dental Assistant

Erin is a Registered Dental Assistant whose primary duty is working with patients as a chairside assistant in the back office. Her relationships with patients have been a great source of satisfaction and enjoyment throughout the years and continue to be a tremendous source of fulfillment. "I love the relationships we build with our patients during their time in treatment with us."

Erin is married and has three adult children. She loves to garden, read, and knit. She especially enjoys going to musicals and stage plays.

Registered Dental Assistant

Ashley is a Registered Dental Assistant and is a former patient of Dr. Kawata’s. Her interest in orthodontic assisting began when she was in treatment with Dr. Kawata. "When I was a patient, I always enjoyed the friendliness and care of the entire orthodontic team, and now that I work here, I love coming to work because the atmosphere is always positive and fun, and I love being a part of it."

Ashley enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and taking weekend trips to the beach. She is also a full-time student majoring in business.

Registered Dental Assistant

Burgie is a Registered Dental Assistant and has over 7 years of experience working as a chairside assistant. She receives great joy in serving our patients and making a difference in their lives. "I am so fortunate to be a part of such a dynamic team! Dr. Kawata is truly a genuine person and an accomplished doctor. It’s a pleasure to work for him."

In her spare time, Burgie enjoys snowboarding, reading, writing, and photography. She loves to spend time and share laughs with her husband / best friend Justin.

Registered Dental Assistant

Twila has been a Registered Dental Assistant since 1982, and previously worked with Dr. Kawata in the early 1990’s. She loves working in orthodontics, and especially enjoys seeing the positive changes in our patient’s appearance and self-confidence. "I am really happy to rejoin Dr. Kawata in his practice. I have always admired his dedication to his patients and his positive attitude. Not only is he a fantastic orthodontist, but I think he is also a great person."

Twila lives in Corona with her husband and two daughters. On the weekends, she and her husband love to ride their Harleys, and, from October through April, you’ll likely find them riding in their sandrail at Glamis.
