Meet The Doctors

Meet Dr. Garrett Kawata

Dr. Garrett Kawata has practiced orthodontics in Corona for over 30 years. Having grown up in California and raised his own family here, he understands the needs of the patients and families he treats. He is committed to orthodontic excellence and is dedicated to making your orthodontic treatment a positive experience.

After attending the University of Southern California for his undergraduate studies, Dr. Kawata earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. He then returned to the USC School of Dentistry for his advanced specialty degree in orthodontics. He continues to be involved at the USC School of Dentistry, Department of Graduate Orthodontics, as a clinical professor. His students at USC have voted him “Teacher of the Year” four times!

Professional affiliations and continuing education are important parts of Dr. Kawata’s personal and professional commitments as an orthodontist. Dr. Kawata is a past President of the Southern California component of the prestigious Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists, and is also a Director of the national board thereof. He is heavily involved in continuing education in order to offer his patients and students the highest quality cutting-edge technology in orthodontic treatment.
